25 November International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
Women facing discrimination, exploitation, gender inequality, and all forms of violence in all areas of life and decision-making mechanisms; call the society to an effective and sustainable struggle, and the relevant institutions/organizations to duty!
Our priority demands are the development of women’s rights as human rights on a global scale, the effective implementation of laws and international treaties, and the re-enactment of the Istanbul Convention.
The precondition to establish an effective democracy and true justice is ending all forms of violence; which is one of the most fundamental responsibilities of the state. A mentality transformation should be achieved at the base of a society in cooperation with all its civil/official institutions and the private sector.
We do not give up our struggle until we establish Equal Free Non violent Life! With the fire burning in the souls of the Mirabal Sisters, who created a butterfly effect with their determination to resist venturing their massacres, and of all women who struggled against violence they were subjected to at the cost of their lives, we once again invite all segments of the society to a common struggle in the spirit of solidarity.
